John Beer Motor Repairs was established in 1985 by John Beer. In 2021 we moved premises to Fore Street, into what was the Ford main dealer site, and took the opportunity to change our name to Chard Tyre & AutoCentre.

Now run by John’s son, Andrew, we have a deserved reputation in Chard for exceptional customer service and workmanship, providing honesty, transparency, and experience. Our team are dedicated and only satisfied when our customers are satisfied.

We are a proud Servicesure Autocentre, offering their Nationwide Warranty to all our customers, and our large, modern, workshop is equipped with all the very latest equipment and specialist tooling we need to diagnose and fix any issue your vehicle might have. Routine maintenance such as MOTs and all kinds of servicing are also a big part of what we do.
